The Imperial Medal for Bravery, featuring Nicholas II in relief (#204617), was established during the last Tsar's reign. These were among a very few Imperial awards which the Soviet government recognized and permitted awardees to wear (with official USSR-era replacement ribbon, as required by the Kremlin).
